This is a big part of your wedding cost. Most churches are now charging members and non members a fee for using their facilities. And people are often having to rent 2 locations one for the wedding and one for the reception. Try to cut down the cost by finding one place to rent to have both the reception and the wedding. Our wedding is a destination wedding. So we were responsible for hotel accommodations for the wedding party as well. We were able to rent a bed and breakfast. Which gives us the location for the wedding, reception, and it had enough rooms for all of the wedding party and immediate family members to stay. So the one place takes care of 3 of our wedding needs: Wedding Location, Reception Location, and Hotel Accommodations for the wedding party and family.
